Paul has always held an interest in law, and in his early 20's when he saw a story on Police Prosecutors, he decided to pursue that interest. Believing the best path to success as a lawyer was to become a Police Prosecutor, Paul joined the NSW Police Service in 1988, where he received training on police and court procedures.
Having graduated with a Diploma of Law in 2000, Paul joined Bell Lawyers in 2001 and has since become an integral part of the firm. Paul has been a partner since 2005 and is the senior criminal lawyer of Bell Lawyers. Paul is an Accredited Specialist in Criminal Law (Accredited by the Law Society of NSW).
Armed with the knowledge and skill gained through rigorous training and appearing in court on a daily basis, Paul has the ability to assist people who are charged with criminal offences whether it is a minor traffic matter or a serious criminal offence.
Paul also assists clients with employment matters and recently was successful in an unfair dismissal case where an employee was sacked for carrying a packet of cigarettes on the work site. Fighting for the employee's rights, Paul obtained an order that the employee be re-instated to his position and that the employee be paid nearly two years back pay.
Paul's success is not only in a court of law but also on the basketball court. The commitment he shows to his clients is reflected in his coaching, where he has been successful in winning grand finals and now is a representative coach for Penrith & District Basketball Association.
